Dr. Kilby was born in Rappahannock County and is happily married to his wonderful wife, Kim. He did his undergraduate studies at the University of Richmond in Richmond, Virginia and graduated with a BS in Chemistry. He attended medical school at the Medical College of Virginia. He did his internship at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. For his residency he did his first year at Grady Memorial Hospital and completed his second residency with the US Army at William Beaumont Hospital. Dr. Kilby served in the US Army and was a general pediatrician at Ft. Belvoir where he also served as the Director in the Department of Pediatrics.  He is Board- certified in pediatrics, and has admitting privileges to Culpeper Regional Hospital. In his spare time he enjoys working on his farm in Sperryville, raising animals and planting vegetables.  Dr. Kilby has dedicated over 36 years to pediatrics and private practices.
