Terri was born and raised in Madison County Virginia. After attending UVA, she worked in obstetrics at Culpeper Regional Hospital from 1982-1992, then at Pediatric Medical Associates and in the Madison and Orange County health departments for several years before attending the Medical College of Virginia to earn her Master’s in Women’s Health in 2003. She practiced as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner at Fluvanna Correctional Center for Women while completing her Post-Master’s certification in Family Health.
She has been employed at Commonwealth Medical since October 2005 and particularly enjoys women’s health and mental health issues. She enjoys getting to know her patients and feels the treatment of the individual in the context of their environment, goals and priorities is the key to a successful partnership in meeting their health care needs.
Terri is married and has two sons and one daughter. She enjoys their family pets, which include dogs, goats, donkeys and sheep! She also enjoys being outside, reading, quilting and spending time with her family and friends.
