
Jane Miller was born in Texas City, Texas, and grew up in Austin. She has lived in central Virginia for the past ten years. Along with her master’s degree in nursing, she also has a degree in nutrition and a specialty certification as a diabetic educator. Mrs. Miller served as a registered dietitian in the U.S. Navy at four naval hospitals and received two Navy Achievement Awards while on active duty. She has been in practice as a family nurse practitioner for more than 10 years and is committed to working in a rural community providing care to all members of the family regardless of age.
Mrs. Miller lives in Charlottesville with her husband Ted and enjoys spending time with her two grown children, hiking, traveling, gardening, cooking, watching movies, and reading.
