Dr. Gravatte was born in Christiansburg Virginia and grew up in Springfield.  He has lived in the Warrenton/Culpeper area since 1988.  His past hospital service includes President of the Medical Staff, Chief of Credentials, and Executive Committee Member.  His honors have included “Doctor of the Year” in the Fauquier Citizen, “Best Doctor” by the Warrenton Life-style Magazine and Salute to service Award from the Medical Society of Virginia.  He is committed to Free Clinics locally and statewide.  Dr. Gravatte joined CMA Family Physicians in 2007. His practice includes a broad scope of Family Medicine including newborn and well child care, ADHD, general adolescent health, office gynecology, outpatient cardiology, office dermatology, and preventive health strategies. He lives in Culpeper with his wife Laurel and enjoys time with his three grown children. He also enjoys mountain hiking, snow skiing and surfing, UVA sports, golf, good music and Sundays off.
